Vice President of Finance Job Type: Full‑Time, Onsite

Compensation: Starting at $250,000 annually plus bonus and comprehensive benefits package

Position Overview The Vice President of Finance serves as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team, driving financial performance and operational excellence. This role combines high‑level strategic vision with hands‑on financial management across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is an accomplished finance leader with extensive experience in manufacturing or contract production environments, capable of translating financial insight into actionable business results.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership

Partner with executive leadership to design and execute long‑term financial and operational strategies that support profitable growth.

Provide clear financial guidance to drive decision‑making across Sales, Production, Planning, Procurement, and Logistics.

Contribute to evaluating capital investments, expansion initiatives, and process optimization efforts.

Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee the preparation and accuracy of all financial statements, reports, and forecasts.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.

Present monthly and quarterly performance reports to executive leadership and the board.

Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance

Lead all cost accounting and financial analysis related to product margins, labor, materials, and overhead.

Partner with production and planning teams to align financial objectives with operational efficiency and capacity.

Strengthen internal controls for inventory valuation, waste reduction, and production cost tracking.

Forecasting, Planning & Treasury

Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support growth and scalability.

Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation to optimize near‑term operations and long‑term investments.

Team Development

Mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team to support operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Drive improvements in systems, processes, and analytics to enhance financial transparency and decision‑making.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 5 years in manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or a supply chain‑intensive environment.

Deep expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and production planning workflows.

Proven success implementing and optimizing ERP‑based financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or equivalent).

Exceptional analytical, strategic, and leadership abilities.

Strong balance between strategic thinking and hands‑on operational execution.
