Corporate Controller

Executive Recruiting & Search Management KBW Financial has partnered with a Boston area Biotech Company to identify a Corporate Controller. This role will be a key member of the finance leadership team responsible for leading accounting and reporting while shaping processes, systems, and controls for expected growth.

Responsibilities

Manage the global accounting function (GL, consolidations, cost accounting, AP, payroll)

Manage the close and reporting

Oversee internal controls

Partner with the CFO and FP&A leadership to support financial activities

Implement systems and processes to support growth and commercial readiness

Manage audits

Manage all technical accounting and GAAP matters

Ensure best‑in‑class SOX framework development and public company reporting standards

Serve as the point of contact with private equity sponsors on accounting and financial control matters

Requirements

CPA and public accounting background required

10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience in Biotech or pharma

GAAP and technical accounting expertise

Experience in a PE backed growth company

Commercial stage biotech company experience

Experience system implementations

Strong communication presence

Compensation: $200k - $250k Base + Bonus + Equity
