What You'll Do

Own our technology roadmap: Work alongside the CEO & leadership team to define priorities, break ambitious ideas into iterative releases, and ensure rapid delivery without sacrificing quality.

Scale the team and culture: Build and mentor a high‑performing engineering organization across our Austin and São Paulo hubs, growing from 7 to 25+ engineers within 12 months.

Drive execution and reliability: Reduce product cycle times by 50%, strengthen CI/CD pipelines, and ensure uptime and stability as usage scales.

Embed AI and automation: Leverage AI/ML both internally (to boost developer productivity) and externally (to power smarter, faster contractor tools).

Balance innovation with discipline: Manage tech debt, budgets, and architectural decisions that keep us shipping fast without creating future drag.

Partner across teams: Collaborate with Product, Growth, and BizOps to enable experimentation, instrumentation, and data‑driven decision-making.

Foster a high‑ownership culture: Create an environment where engineers thrive—moving fast, learning constantly, and seeing the real‑world impact of their work.

About You

10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years leading high‑performing teams.

Experience scaling SaaS or PLG platforms (ideally from Series A‑C) and managing 20‑50 engineers.

Strong technical depth: you don't need to code daily, but you can lead design reviews, dive into architecture, and hire exceptional engineers.

Familiarity with our stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React Native, GraphQL, AWS/Azure, and Python (for data/AI).

Experience with AI/ML teams or tools: comfortable integrating AI into production products.

DevOps and systems design fluency: you've built or overseen distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines, and secure, scalable infrastructure.

Proven ability to lead distributed teams across geographies and time zones.

You care deeply about velocity, quality, and people—you build teams that deliver and enjoy the journey.

You thrive in fast‑paced, startup environments where ambiguity is fuel, not friction.
