The summary of the responsibilities includes overseeing the recruitment and orientation of all divisional personnel, evaluating departmental performance, and recommending improvements for efficiency. The role serves as a key contact for employee relations, manages compliance with employment laws, and maintains accurate HR documentation and systems. Additionally, the position requires building organizational relationships, managing leave processes, and being able to travel 40% of the time.
We are looking for a green candidate who would be willing to travel between the Warren, OR and Freemont, Indiana locations. Their home base would be Warren but would need to be able and willing to travel to Freemont for two weeks out of the month for their first year.

* Has worked in a food grade facility or plastics facility. * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and/or four years of Human Resource related experience.
* 1 or more years of demonstrated Human Resources/employee relations experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
* PHR or SHRM-CP Certification or in process of receiving it.
* Experience being the primary point of contact employees and assists with employee relations issues, questions, and concerns.
