Job Summary The Directorof Capital Markets and Corporate Development is primarily focused on the ongoing capitalization of the business across bank lender relationships, tax equity investments, and corporate equity raises. This person will work closely with the Sales, Project Development, and PMO teams on financing new projects and building profitable relationships with customers. This person will also be responsible for the corporate structure and overseeing the accounting methodology between and among Cherry Street’s subsidiaries. Your main purpose is enabling the business to operate effectively via forecasting and capital access, then accurately reporting the results of those actions.
Job Responsibilities Corporate Development
Support analysis of acquisition and development opportunities
Conduct financial modeling and valuation assessments
Assist in strategic investment decisions
Capital Markets Efforts
Prepare collateral and modeling documentation for financing initiatives
Support equity raises and investor engagements
Develop diligence models and investment theses
Coordinate data room diligence and respond to investor inquiries
Treasury Services & Bank Compliance
Assist with covenant calculations and call notices
Support bank compliance and treasury operations
Tax Equity & Other Equity Raises
Help oversee existing tax equity structures
Identify and evaluate new tax equity opportunities
Contribute to equity financing strategies
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar business related field
5-7 years in a similar capital markets or business development position
Exceptional Excel skills
Post-secondary degree preferred
Organized, diligent, responsible
Ability to work autonomously
