Requirements
I have over 3 years of practical experience with ROS 1 and/or ROS 2 in real-world robotic systems. I possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and can effectively collaborate with distributed teams. I am proficient in C++ and Python. I am comfortable using tools such as rviz, rosbag, rqt, tf, and standard ROS debugging methods. I have experience with Linux, shell scripting, and production-grade development environments. I am familiar with robotics sensors (e.g., lidar, IMU, cameras) and understand their real-world limitations. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. I am a self-starter who thrives in a startup or early-stage product environment. I am available to work on-site in Sunnyvale, CA. Responsibilities
I will troubleshoot and resolve issues in deployed robots utilizing ROS 1 and ROS 2. I will collaborate with outsourced developers to implement and test system enhancements. I will tune and validate localization, navigation, and sensor performance in both simulation and field conditions. I will develop internal tools and scripts for diagnostics, monitoring, and optimizing deployment. I will participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and cross-functional engineering discussions. I will propose, prototype, and validate system enhancements to improve patrol reliability, uptime, and autonomy behavior. I will document key findings, tuning parameters, and engineering best practices to ensure field reliability. Company

We are looking for a Robotics Engineer to join our team and support the ongoing development of our autonomous robotics platform. Reporting directly to the Deployment Engineering Supervisor, I will work closely with an outsourced software development team. The role is highly impactful, directly influencing the reliability, intelligence, and real-world performance of our robots. I will thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where adaptability, cross-team collaboration, and ownership are crucial. Job Type: Full-time. Pay: $115,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year. Benefits
