Overview
Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Specialist - P2P Responsibilities
The business system analyst is responsible for solving business problems, business architecture, process optimization, business rules, business cases, business requirements, organizational change (communications), and UAT. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Understand and document current business procedures and identify areas for improvement; provide hands-on business process requirements analysis in support of Oracle Cloud ERP and related applications. Plan, design and implement financial systems solutions in collaboration with internal departments and external resources; possess a thorough understanding of the current state of the organization prior to recommending changes related to implementing a new business solution. Under general supervision, formulate and define system scope and objectives through research. Facilitate knowledge transfer of business requirements to application developers. Provide cogent arguments recommending courses of action. Review large volumes of information to identify salient points relevant to the supported business area. Detect new business patterns and address changes in business processes to gain competitive advantage. Translate business needs into IT requirements and functional design specifications using established methods for requirements gathering. Foster trust between Business and IT teams. Assist in identifying and implementing various software solutions and provide application support for business users. Write conversion, interface, reports and extension functional design specifications; support data cleanup, data conversion and reconciliation activities. Support month-end and year-end activities, including reconciliation. Review design specifications developed by other analysts and provide feedback on design documents. Write white papers and solution recommendations as needed; support testing and conduct training. Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, Accounting or related field. The equivalent combination of education and successful work experience (10 years). CPA Certification is Preferred. Qualifications
12+ years of Business Analyst experience (Required). 12+ years of Software Development Lifecycle experience (Required). 12+ years of requirements gathering and documentation experience (Required). 12+ years of Microsoft Excel/Word/Visio/PowerPoint experience (Required). 12+ years of Oracle Financials EBS/Cloud Suite experience (Required). 12+ years of experience working as an Oracle Functional Subject Matter Expert/SME in Procure to Pay Process Area (Required). 8+ years of experience with month-end and year-end closing and reconciliation in Procure to Pay Process Area (Required). Demonstrable expertise within the Oracle Cloud ERP suite with specific expertise in Oracle Purchasing and Oracle Payables. 8+ years of experience providing production support for Oracle EBS/Cloud Application. 8+ years of experience implementing Oracle ERP Cloud Procure to Pay Process Area (Required). Experience with Public Sector implementation. Technical Skills
