Sinai Hospital is a Regional Medical Campus of the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Starting in April 2023, Sinai Hospital will be hosting GW medical students for all required rotations and electives for their third and fourth years of medical school. Since 2018, GW medical students have been rotating at Sinai Hospital for certain OB/GYN rotations. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a board‑certified/eligible generalist.
Recognized for two consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report as a high‑performing unit, Sinai Hospital’s BirthPlace is an integral part of the Baltimore community performing 1,800 births annually. It is a nonprofit teaching hospital with an ACGME‑accredited residency program that trains more than 140 residents. With 483 beds, Sinai is the largest community hospital in Maryland.
Responsibilities
Teach future OB/GYNs in a certified residency program of 16 residents (4 per year).
Work with an established team of 6 OB/GYNs, 2 APPs, and 16 residents.
Hold an academic appointment with the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Provide the highest level of expertise in complete prenatal and postnatal care and the latest gynecologic surgeries.
Support a growing Maternal Fetal Medicine practice that offers a full range of antenatal services.
Assist with diabetes management through a registered dietician.
Provide comprehensive care via robust divisions of Urogynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.
Operate robotic surgery as an asset; the department supports robotic procedures with DaVinci Xi.
Perform block time for operating room cases.
Support a laborist program for labor and delivery floor coverage.
Occupy an employed position with excellent base salary and RVU bonus.
Maintain office hours Monday – Friday.
Participate in a rotating call schedule.

Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board certified or board eligible.
Successful completion of an ACGME‑approved residency program in OB/GYN.
Ability to obtain a Maryland medical license and DEA license.
Expertise in robotic and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery is a plus.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Salary Competitive guaranteed base salary of $275,000–$325,000, dependent on specialty, board certification, and experience, with the opportunity for additional incentive compensation.
