Perform comprehensive transthoracic, stress, contrast and transesophageal echocardiograms to evaluate cardiac structure and function. Assist in monthly statistical reporting and documentation for the department. Schedule and coordinate in‑patient procedures with physicians and allied health staff. Calculate and verify diagnostic data for physician interpretation and imaging interpretation. Participate in quality assurance projects, inventory management, ordering and stocking of supplies, and entry of patient data and charges. Provide 24‑hour, 7‑day echo coverage to ensure continuous patient care. Qualifications
Certified and/or Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Sonographer. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Associate degree (two years) in an accredited cardiac sonography program. Minimum one year of recent hospital or clinical experience preferred. Benefits
