Denials Specialist LPN

Shift: DayWorking Hours: 8a-5pSummary:The Denials Specialist LPN is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and resolving denied medical claims related to clinical services. This position collaborates with clinical staff, payers, and revenue cycle teams to ensure accurate documentation, proper coding, and appeal submission. The specialist plays a key role in minimizing revenue loss and improving reimbursement rates while ensuring compliance with payer guidelines and regulations. Other information:Licensure: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical practice, revenue cycle, medical billing, or claims processing required. Prior experience in denials management or appeals preferred. Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS), insurance policies, and billing guidelines. Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in EHR and billing software systems. Certifications: Certification in medical coding or billing (e.g., COC, CIC, CPC, CCS, CPAR) is a plus. This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
