Agile Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator with deep Red Hat Enterprise Linux expertise to support a mission‑critical, fully federally funded program. This long‑term federal contract is with a major government agency and requires an onsite presence in Atlanta, GA five days a week.
Base pay range $100,000.00/yr – $110,000.00/yr
What You’ll Do
Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot RHEL 8/9 server environments.
Support Ansible automation and RHEL Satellite for patching and configuration management.
Manage networking components such as IPTables/Firewalld, DNS (BIND), TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6.
Support Linux clustering, NFS, PXE boot, SELinux, and distributed environments.
Work with tools like Mirantis Container Runtime (Docker), AWS, GitLab.
Ensure systems meet federal security standards (CIS, NIST 800‑53, DISA STIGs).
Participate in an on‑call rotation (approximately twice per quarter).
Document configurations, procedures, and system designs.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of total professional IT experience and 5+ years hands‑on Linux administration.
Current Red Hat Certification (RHCSA, RHCE, or RHCA).
Strong experience with RHEL, command‑line administration, and enterprise‑scale Linux operations.
Experience with Ansible, Automation, and RHEL Satellite.
Networking knowledge: DNS, firewalls, TCP/IP, routing, SMTP/Postfix, etc.
Ability to work onsite in Atlanta five days per week.
Location & Employment Atlanta, GA – Full‑time, onsite, Mid‑Senior level.
