K&L Gates We are looking for smart, imaginative, and hard‑working people with diverse backgrounds to join our global Client Growth team. The Market Development Senior Manager will develop and execute marketing and business development programs for the firm’s Asset Management and Investment Funds (AMIF) practice area. Responsibilities

Business Development:

Collaborate with lawyers and Client Growth team members to execute business development activities, create proposal content, prepare RFP responses, write proposals, create presentations, and maintain qualifications for new business. Identify potential leads, collect and share market intelligence, represent the firm at networking events, track business development activity, and affiliate with professional and trade associations. Coach lawyers on significant business development opportunities, follow up on outcomes, and conduct client debriefings. Team Management:

Own documentation, management, and transfer of practice area business development and marketing norms; manage knowledge bank of lawyer experience; strategize and co‑develop annual marketing and business development budget; orient new lawyers; mentor and train teammates; serve on firmwide initiatives. Go‑To‑Market Strategy:

Work with leadership to identify market opportunities, target audiences, and co‑develop practice‑centric business development strategies; develop and manage market‑specific content campaigns, collateral, and events; maintain knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape; partner with PR to secure media exposure; provide insight on awards and rankings. Pipeline Development:

Develop and drive pipeline development process, create key account program, identify revenue expansion opportunities, and maintain personal connections in the business community. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Minimum 7 years marketing, business development or sales experience in a professional services firm; extensive knowledge of AMIF trends and competition; MBA or similar preferred; outstanding communication, collaboration, project management and attention to detail skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Compensation
