Job Overview Northrop Grumman is a trusted provider of mission-enabling solutions for global security. As a key focal point on contract matters, the Contract Administrator will represent the organization, working independently on complex tasks, and maintaining excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Administers, extends, negotiates, and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.

Conducts proposal preparation, cost estimation, contract negotiation, and customer contact activities to ensure proper acquisition and fulfillment.

Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules for accuracy and completeness.

Prepares proposals, progress reports, and other documentation.

Advises management on contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; maintains historical information.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree plus 3 years of relevant experience in U.S. Government contract administration and management.

Experience with various contract types such as Time & Material, Cost types, Firm Fixed Price, and Other Transactions.

Experience with proposal development and negotiation.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.

U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in U.S. Government Department of Defense contract administration & management.

Experience with FAR/DFARS.

A current/active DoD Secret clearance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00. Overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and Long Term Incentives may apply based on position level.
