Pay Range Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Position Summary The Procurement Analyst is responsible for evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the cost‑effective purchase of necessary products and services supporting the Center, in compliance with internal policies and funder requirements. The Analyst will be responsible for maximizing the use of the expense and invoice management system (SAP Concur), working closely with the Fiscal team to design procedures that make full use of the functionality and reporting. The Analyst will seek opportunities to work with community‑based vendors.

Responsibilities

Analyzing data to estimate the cost, quality, and delivery time of products and services

Reviewing procurement needs from the sites and departments and making recommendations

Negotiating contracts with suppliers to obtain the best price and delivery schedule

Identifying potential suppliers and establishing relationships with them

Utilizing software systems to manage procurement processes

Manage the RFQ (Request for Quotation) process, analyze proposals, and make recommendations for supplier selection.

Monitor supplier performance, ensure timely delivery of products and services, and address any issues or discrepancies that may arise.

Continuously optimize purchasing processes to improve efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.

Proposing changes to improve procurement processes and reduce costs

Design and maintain system features that ensure proper oversight and review of expenses, while minimizing duplicate data entry

Ensure proper linkages between expense management system and financial systems

Preparing and presenting reports to management

Collaborate closely with Fiscal department to ensure streamlined processes

Ensure compliance with the Center’s fiscal policies and funder requirements related to sourcing and purchasing

May be responsible for inputting invoices, purchase orders, check requests

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience

3 – 5 years’ work experience as a Procurement / Sourcing Analyst, or another relevant role

Project management skills to oversee the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to

Analytical skills to critically evaluate supplier proposals and make decisions that best serve the company’s interests.

Strong technical skills, experience with SAP Concur expense management or similar system

Strong working knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques

Talent in negotiations and networking to ensure company secures the best deals with suppliers

Aptitude in decision‑making and working with numbers

Experience in collecting and analyzing data with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Problem‑solving skills to swiftly identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the procurement process.

Attention to detail to accurately track and record procurement transactions and to ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders (eg, Site Directors, Facilities staff, etc.) and suppliers.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
