Position Overview As the Head of Product Management for Capital Electrical, you will inspire a global team, define the future of E/E Systems, and drive innovation across the Siemens Xcelerator platform.

Impact & Responsibilities The key responsibilities include:

Strategic Product & Portfolio Leadership: Lead Capital's electrical product strategy and roadmap (connectivity, harness design, technical publications), driving innovative enhancements such as AI and multi‑disciplinary solutions, and shaping the portfolio across diverse industries (e.g., automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, marine).

Digital Thread Visionary: Champion the E/E systems digital thread within Siemens Xcelerator, providing and realizing a compelling vision for its enhancement.

Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing global team of technical product managers, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Commercial & Market Strategy: Define and execute comprehensive electrical strategies, including innovative pricing/packaging, go‑to‑market plans, and compelling training. Drive commercial success by working closely with sales and customers to achieve revenue goals and understand evolving requirements.

Roadmap & Execution Ownership: Define impactful investment strategies and craft clear, actionable product roadmaps, collaborating with product owners and development teams for seamless execution.

Stakeholder Engagement & Evangelism: Actively participate in strategic planning, business reviews, and critical customer engagements. Evangelize products and solutions, articulating their value to industry, sales, and external stakeholders, fostering strong cross‑organizational partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership Acumen: Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high‑performing product management teams, emphasizing mentorship and a results‑driven culture.

Expert E/E Systems Solution Knowledge: Possess profound expertise in leveraging software solutions to manage and optimize intricate electrical design data and processes across the entire product lifecycle. This encompasses a deep understanding of E/E systems from initial conceptualization and connectivity, through detailed harness design and manufacturing, to comprehensive documentation and after‑sales support.

Strategic Product Leadership & Execution: Possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive product management experience, specifically within an enterprise software company, with a proven track record of defining and driving impactful product strategies. Demonstrates strong leadership in mentoring high‑performing product teams and influencing cross‑functional stakeholders to achieve the product vision and business objectives.

Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a relevant technical discipline.

Commercial Mindset: Sharp commercial acumen with a proven track record of driving successful business initiatives.

Exceptional Communication & Strategic Influence: Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences, including proposals, product presentations, and executive stakeholder communications.

Analytical Prowess: Advanced analytical skills to translate intricate business requirements into elegant technical solutions.

Adaptability & Drive: Highly adaptable and driven, thriving in fast‑paced environments and leveraging new technologies for innovative solutions.

Agile Experience: Solid experience with enterprise agile and scrum development practices.

Qualifications

Advanced Degree: An advanced degree such as an MBA.

Development Background: Prior software development experience.

Thought Leadership: A track record of publications or presenting at conferences in this domain.

Integration Master: Experience dealing with complex data models and inter‑tool integrations.

Industry Insight: Experience working in the automotive or aerospace industries.
