Manager of Insights & Analytics
to lead the development of data‑driven insights that power business strategy and transformative growth. The role reports to the Director of Insights & Analytics and plays a key part of the Marketing Organization, driving Insights & Analytics initiatives that leverage a wide variety of data and analytics tools both internal and external. The chosen candidate will partner closely with Marketing to drive market research projects and help diagnose performance to uncover growth opportunities and identify challenges in a fast‑paced, consumer‑centric food business.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Plans: Work closely with Marketing teams and the Director for Consumer Insights & Analytics to identify key gaps and opportunities for consumer research projects and create a comprehensive learning plan.
Project Management: Design and execute custom qualitative & quantitative primary research. Deliver insights projects on time, within budget, and ensuring results align with business objectives.
Breakthrough Insights: Interpret consumer data to understand preferences, motivations, and behaviors, representing the voice of the consumer in cross‑functional meetings and decision making.
Performance Analysis & Measurement: Identify and explain key drivers of business performance, including market trends, consumer behavior, competitive dynamics, and marketing effectiveness.
Vendor Management: Manage research partner relationships, roadmaps, and capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, consumer insights, or business intelligence, preferably within the Food/CPG sector.
Understanding of syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, SPINS) and their application to brand and category strategy.
Keen business acumen and ability to connect data to commercial outcomes.
Good written and oral communication skills, and experience presenting to large groups.
Strong knowledge and proven application of a wide range of quantitative and qualitative research initiatives and methodologies, including survey development, segmentation, advertising effectiveness, panel research, ethnography, focus groups, brand tracking, competitive intelligence, etc.
Well organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines.
Experience managing research vendors to deliver high‑quality work on time and within budget.
