We are ARCO, a family of construction companies. ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking an experienced Industrial/Tilt Superintendent with 10+ years of assignment experience, including 5+ years as a project lead Superintendent.

A Day In The Life
Attend post‑award review meetings to receive project information for pre‑planning
Participate with the Project Manager in preparing a schedule of construction activities, sequence, and manpower requirements
Direct and control total construction project to meet specifications and schedule, produce expected profit
Assist Project Manager/Engineer with shipment of materials, shop drawing approvals, and materials samples
Coordinate subcontractor activities to align with project schedules
Inform supervisors and subcontractors of any construction schedule changes
Assist in preparing job progress and cost reports to accurately reflect actual costs
Review and approve requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and other significant documents
Cooperate with owners and their representatives, keeping them informed of progress
Cooperate with architects or owner representatives on a mutually beneficial basis
Hold job site meetings with Project Manager and Regional Manager, report to Project Manager on progress, plans, problems
Maintain a daily diary of key project facts and events
Direct adherence to the company’s safety program at all phases
Make decisions under tight deadlines
Organize people, tools, and equipment to accomplish results
Demonstrate leadership skills and resolve conflict
Exhibit commitment to quality, evaluate processes, and meet customer expectations
Act with integrity, support company values, focus on meeting customer requirements
Necessary Qualifications
10+ years of construction experience, at least 5 as a project lead Superintendent
Experience completing ground‑up Industrial projects, preferably in Northern California
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs
Current valid driver license in your state of residence
Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform field duties
