Job Title: RF Validation Engineer Winter/Spring Co-Op Posting Start Date: 8/13/25 Job Location: Newbury Park We are looking for a Co-op available from January to June 2026 to join our Newbury Park-based Characterization team. In this role, you will assist engineers with developing hardware and software solutions utilized in the characterization and design verification testing of RF front-end modules, filters, LNAs, and Power amplifiers. Our products are used in smartphones, wearables, and automobiles. This internship will provide the student with experience working with RF lab test equipment, automation, software development, and data analysis in a dynamic multi-discipline environment. Co-op duration: January to June 2026 Responsibilities
Working with experienced engineers to test/develop multi-chip modules Setting up test benches as required and performing calibration Collecting test data using standard RF test equipment Troubleshooting and resolving test scripts, bench, or technical issues Collaborating with other engineers and technicians Perform data analysis and provide summary/feedback to the project team Required Experience and Skills
Working toward undergraduate or Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical, Computer, or Systems Design Engineering Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and methodologies, and logical thinking Good communication, organization, and documentation skills Experience in presenting data Coursework in control systems, signals and systems, analog circuits Troubleshooting and debugging software and hardware systems Knowledge of software programming tools (Visual Studio, C++, Python, or other scripting languages) Preferred Experience and Skills
Experience with lab equipment, and measurement (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, RF Generator, Power Meter, and Oscilloscope) Positive attitude with a strong desire for customer and team success to maintain our winning culture Compensation and Equal Opportunity
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is USD $26.00 – $47.50 per hour; for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. it is USD $22.50 – $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, job duties, requirements, and work location.
