Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is searching for the best talent for a Medical Science Liaison – Autoantibody Pipeline for the South‑Central region. This field‑based position is located in Dallas or Houston, TX, covering Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.

Responsibilities

Consistently demonstrate strategic territory planning and the ability to build strong relationships within the territory.

Responsible for developing and maintaining a field strategic plan.

Respond promptly to unsolicited scientific inquiries from HCPs, investigators, health care systems, academic medical centers, and population health decision makers, integrating scientific data including real‑world evidence into practice to meet customer needs.

Present data and information appropriately for the audience and request.

Execute reactive and proactive outreach plans as approved through the legal/HCC exceptions process.

Integrate scientific data into real‑life practice, adapting interpersonal style to specific situations and people.

Anticipate responses of various stakeholders based on their perspectives.

Prioritize franchise customer‑based initiatives and field responsibilities while balancing administrative duties and project responsibilities.

Executes Research Initiatives

Leverage knowledge of standards of care and Janssen company/investigator‑sponsored clinical trials and competitor landscape to facilitate external‑internal research communication.

Engage with external investigators regarding unsolicited research inquiries and act as liaison to R&D, Medical Affairs, and operations teams.

Provide clinical trial support to identify potential sites, resolve issues with enrolled sites, and participate in meetings such as site initiation visits and investigator launch meetings.

Continuous Support Department Operations And Internal Partners

Perform all administrative requirements in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner (e.g., expense reports, activity documentation).

Maintain focus and composure in uncertain circumstances with minimal direction.

Provide regional and local support to enhance sales training initiatives and improve competencies of field personnel in partnership with Sales Learning and Development.

Communicate and collaborate with all field‑based partners and other Immunology MSL teams on a routine basis.

Demonstrate the ability to partner with others to lead or participate in large‑scale projects.

Maintain thorough understanding of regulatory and health‑care compliance guidelines, corporate policies on appropriate business conduct and ethical behavior, and Medical Affairs SOPs and guidelines.

Qualifications Required:

PharmD, PhD, MD, with 1–2 years of relevant hematology, immunology, and/or auto/alloimmune clinical or research disease experience.

1–2 years of MSL experience, preferably in rare disease.

Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and remote technologies.

Ability to travel up to 70 %.

Preferred:

Launch experience in rare disease.

Significant experience presenting.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and remote technologies.
