Job Description & Requirements
Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner (NP) - locum tenens support, Start Date: ASAP.
Shifts: Day 8. Pay Rate: $106.70 - $115.50.
Schedule: Monday-Sunday, 8am-5pm.
Practice Setting: Clinic.
Type of cases and required procedures: Clinic-based only (no procedures). Initial consultations, reviewing and contacting patients after pathology results, medication management, inbox follow‑ups, and general Gastroenterology consultations.
Credentialing timeframe: 60+ days.
EMR: EPIC (Health Connect – Kaiser Permanente’s version of EPIC).
Certifications required: Active Board Certification and Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
Licensure required: Must have an active California license.
Facility Location San Diego.
