Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Business Development, Capture, and Proposal teams to craft compelling, technically sound solutions that align with customer needs and win strategies.
Act as a subject matter expert in translating solution requirements into proposal artifacts.
Lead the development of technical volumes for proposals, including writing, reviewing, and editing content to ensure compliance with RFP requirements.
Translate customer objectives into innovative technical solutions that address mission challenges while adhering to budget and schedule constraints.
Conduct market research, identify discriminators, and articulate value propositions that differentiate our solutions.
Develop comprehensive artifacts such as system designs, technical roadmaps, and implementation plans to support proposal efforts.
Participate in reviews to refine proposal content and ensure alignment with win themes.
Research emerging technologies and incorporate them into solution designs to enhance competitiveness.
Lead and write technical proposals, white papers, and other collateral in support of technical solutions.
Provide responses to RFIs, government market surveys, and sources‑sought notices.
Provide basis of estimates (BOEs) for technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 12–15 years of experience or Master’s degree with 10–13 years of experience.
Strong team‑building and leadership capabilities; extensive experience leading technical solutioning with business development and capture teams.
Deep understanding of customer problems in the DoD and IC; ability to derive customer solutions that meet technical objectives within cost and schedule.
Proficiency in Cybersecurity, System of Systems, Software, and Agile Engineering; familiarity with Digital Engineering, MBSE, DevSecOps, and Cloud Architectures.
Clearance Requirements Active Top Secret Clearance is required, with eligibility for TS/SCI.
Work Environment
Locations: Northern Virginia; Dayton, OH; Colorado Springs, CO; El Segundo, CA; King of Prussia, PA.
Travel Requirements: Minimal 0–20%.
Working Hours: Standard.
Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 hours per week.
Basic Compensation Colorado area: $169,700.00 – $254,600.00. California area: $185,900.00 – $278,800.00. Rates are based on selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
Additional Compensation KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, relocation benefits, short‑term incentives, long‑term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
