Develop safety-critical software components for powertrain-related systems, including battery-management software, motor-control logic, and core/platform functionality. Participate in planning, design, implementation, and testing activities. Collaborate with systems engineers to translate system requirements into detailed software requirements consistent with DO-178C processes. Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop and integrate complex hardware/software systems. Perform requirements decomposition, analysis, definition, and traceability. Conduct software analysis, requirements-based testing, and structural-coverage analysis. Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance safety and development efficiency. What you need:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field Proficiency in C Fluency in Python Experience developing embedded software, ideally within regulated environments that follow safety standards such as DO-178C or ISO 26262 Familiarity with debuggers and lab tools such as oscilloscopes and bus analyzers Strong organizational and communication skills Experience with flight-control software or electric-vehicle powertrain systems, including motor control and battery management Familiarity with modeling tools such as UML or SysML Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and multithreading Seniority level
