We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands‑on

Accounts Payable Supervisor

to manage all day‑to‑day AP operations and support the company’s financial accuracy and efficiency. This position requires a strong accounting foundation and the ability to independently oversee the full AP cycle, including vendor management, 1099 preparation, and General Ledger alignment. The ideal candidate is a proactive self‑starter who can identify issues quickly, implement corrective actions, and maintain a high standard of accuracy in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily Accounts Payable workflow and ensure timely, accurate processing of high‑volume invoices. Review and post AP transactions to the General Ledger, ensuring proper coding and compliance with accounting policies. Maintain vendor records, set up new vendors, and ensure proper tax documentation, including accurate 1099 preparation and annual filings. Review AP aging reports, research discrepancies, and reconcile outstanding items. Manage vendor relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for resolving invoice or payment issues. Support month‑end close activities related to Accounts Payable, including accruals and account reconciliations. Identify process gaps and implement improvements to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency. Provide guidance and oversight to an AP Specialist, including training and performance support. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 3–5 years of Accounts Payable experience, including supervisory or lead responsibilities. Strong understanding of General Ledger transactions, reconciliations, and month‑end processes. Experience preparing 1099s and setting up vendors accurately. Prior experience working in high‑volume AP environments. Excellent accuracy, organization, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and maintain accountability. Preferred Traits
