Role Overview: We are hiring Director of Infection Prevention for one of our client. Where you will lead, manage, and optimize all Infection Prevention (IP) and Control programs within the facility. You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain continuous readiness, supervise IP activities, and safeguard patient safety through evidence‑based infection prevention strategies. This leadership position requires strong clinical experience, advanced education, and expertise in epidemiology and infection control.
What You Will Do:
Lead and oversee the organization’s Infection Prevention & Control programs.
Ensure compliance with CMS, state/local reporting requirements, and CDC/NHSN standards.
Conduct assessments to ensure continuous Infection Prevention readiness.
Manage IP surveillance, including data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
Provide leadership and direction to clinical IP teams.
Develop policies, protocols, and education to strengthen infection prevention practices.
Promote a culture of patient safety across the organization.
Who You Are:
Master’s degree in Nursing, Education, Epidemiology, Public Health, or Clinical Microbiology.
3 years of clinical experience in a health‑related field.
2 years of leadership experience in Infection Prevention or Epidemiology.
Current national certification in Infection Control (CIC).
