Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the Enterprise Network Infrastructure across the Enterprise.
Evaluate, design, implement, and maintain network systems to ensure 100% availability.
Develop technical standards, implement security measures, and handle fault and performance management.
Handle network components like routers, switches, wireless, VoIP, and others.
Work closely with other IT teams (e.g., Cyber Security, Endpoint Management, and Systems Administration).
Lead and perform systems analysis, including developing requirements for new network infrastructure.
Qualifications
7+ years of IT experience, with 4+ years in networking and telecom.
Hands‑on experience with network hardware components (routers, firewalls, VPN, etc.).
Strong understanding of TCP/IP and related networking protocols.
Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Experience with security measures, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
Technical Skills Desired
Proficient level UNIX computer skills; Basic Scripting: Perl, Python, Shell.
Experience with public cloud environments such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Professional industry certifications in area of expertise.
Traffic Engineering Mechanisms/Techniques and state‑of‑art applications; BGP, OSPF, Policy Based Routing, L2/L3 VPN, QoS, SSL VPNs, ISE 802.1x.
Certification such as CCNP, CCDP, AWS, AZURE.
Expert with Cisco Line of Products, with focus on ISRs, 9300s.
Linux experience with the following platforms: Suse, RedHat or CentOS.
Experience with tools like SolarWinds, Cisco ISE/ACS, MRTG, NetFlow, PuTTy, and Wireshark.
Familiarity with Next Generation firewalls, specifically Palo Alto and Cisco ASAs.
Experience with integration of SEIM tools.
