Lead Data Center Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) Engineer

About the Role The Lead CSA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that every facility is designed to safely and efficiently support high‑density computing environments. This individual will translate performance goals into site plans, structural frameworks, and architectural layouts that accelerate build schedules while minimizing environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of CSA systems for data centers
Develop strategy and design standards for CSA deployment
Maintain basis of design, master specifications, and master drawings
Oversee site due diligence, geotechnical assessments, and permitting
Create architectural layouts optimized for cooling and service corridors
Analyze structural loads for high‑mass racks, immersion tanks, and seismic compliance
Specify fire‑rating, finishes, acoustics, and insulation standards
Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Construction teams through design reviews
Support modular construction strategies to minimize on‑site disruption
Travel up to 20 % (domestic and international)
About the Candidate
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
10+ years of CSA design experience for hyperscale data centers or similar environments
Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, STAAD or RAM; seismic and wind‑load expertise
Familiarity with LEED/BREEAM and lifecycle carbon accounting
Professional Engineer or Registered Architect credentials are a plus
