Diagnostic Services- Radiology Tech-(FT)
Location: Rexburg, ID.
Position Overview Under the direction of a Radiologist, the technologist supervises students and performs duties involved with diagnostic procedures within the radiology department. The technologist uses x‑ray to obtain high‑quality images for diagnostics, presenting them to the Radiologist for interpretation via PACS.
Responsibilities
Prioritise patient safety above all.
Perform routine diagnostic procedures including routine, fluoroscopic, OR, trauma, portable radiographs or fluoroscopy.
Maintain PACS, RIS, CR and DR systems; ensure image quality and proper documentation.
Live the Radiology Mission Statement in all interactions.
Schedule
36‑40 hours per week.
Some weekends and holidays.
Full‑time position.
Required Skills
Proficient use of PACS, RIS, CR and DR systems.
Healthcare provider CPR.
Minimum Work Experience
Competent in all routine diagnostic procedures.
Minimum Education
ARRT registration required.
Completion of an approved Radiology Technologist program.
