Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET) Position Overview: We’re seeking a passionate Software Engineer in Test to join our mission‑critical team developing software that ensures the safety, compliance, and efficiency of nuclear operations. This role combines the excitement of cutting‑edge technology with the responsibility of supporting clean energy infrastructure that powers our future.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive test automation frameworks for Nuclear OS applications
Develop testing strategies for safety‑critical nuclear software systems
Create and maintain QA/QC data validation systems, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance documentation
Build automated testing pipelines that integrate with our continuous deployment processes & develop advanced analytics and AI capabilities
Implement foundational architecture that combines Palantir's powerful data integration and modeling capabilities with quality objectives
Validate QA records with attributes like date, result (pass/fail), inspector credentials, and linkage to ITAAC requirements
Test software systems that manage nuclear component tracking, system testing, and regulatory compliance
Implement data quality checks and validation routines to catch inconsistencies in critical nuclear data
Ensure software meets stringent nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements
Develop testing frameworks for root‑cause analysis tools that trace system histories, component manufacturing records, and test procedures
Create performance and load testing suites for mission‑critical nuclear operations software
Build testing infrastructure for AI‑powered compliance and project management tools
Ensure testing processes conform to Nuclear Quality Assurance programs (NQA‑1 standards)
Validate electronic signature systems and traceability workflows
Test regulatory reporting and documentation systems
Strong problem‑solving skills with ability to work in cross‑functional teams
Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
Ability to work effectively with non‑technical stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Required Qualifications
5+ years of software testing experience, preferably in regulated industries
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C#, or similar languages
Test automation expertise with frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or Playwright
API testing proficiency using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar
Database testing experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
CI/CD pipeline experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
Understanding of nuclear regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks (preferred)
Experience with personnel qualification tracking and training record systems (preferred)
Knowledge of ITAAC (Inspections, Tests, Analyses, and Acceptance Criteria) processes (preferred)
Familiarity with nuclear quality assurance standards (preferred)
Detail‑oriented mindset with commitment to safety and quality
Analytical problem‑solving skills for complex system testing
