The Opportunity The Strategic Finance Lead will report to the Head of Finance and be the first strategic finance hire under the executive team. This person will play a pivotal role at the intersection of finance, go‑to‑market, and strategy, shaping how the company scales toward $100M+ ARR and beyond. Based in the Bay Area, this hybrid role works closely with senior leadership across Finance, Sales, Marketing and Product.
Key responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining sales capacity, productivity, and marketing pipeline models to guide GTM strategy
Delivering accurate financial analysis and scenario planning that inform strategic decisions
Driving insights around sales performance, marketing ROI, and growth forecasting
Leading the finance contribution to board materials and investor reporting
Partnering cross‑functionally with GTM, Product, and Finance leaders to enable data‑driven decisions
This is a true builder role—an opportunity to join as the founding member of the Strategic Finance function, where you will help define the company’s financial strategy and ultimately build a team around you as both you and the company grow.
Candidate Profile
6–10+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, or similar roles within high‑growth SaaS or AI‑driven companies
Proven experience in sales capacity planning, marketing funnel analytics, and GTM modeling
Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills
Background in investment banking or private equity is highly valued
Collaborative communicator who can influence across teams and distill complexity into clarity
Self‑starter who thrives in fast‑moving, scaling environments
