Physician-Oncology

Physician – Oncology Westchester Medical Center Advanced Physician Services, P.C. (Valhalla, New York) seeks Physician (Oncology) to serve as a member of a full-service Medical Oncology Hospitalist team, caring for acutely ill, hospitalized cancer patients. Manage the day-to-day care of cancer inpatients in a hospital setting, including the management of acute medical issues and complications. Perform the general duties of a physician, including providing comprehensive patient care, emergency care, on-call duties, and participation in departmental research and related professional services. Assess and evaluate new hospital patients and their medical histories; assist patients with the diagnosis and treatment of various health issues. Liaise with patients' primary oncologists to develop medical strategy and treatment plans.

Qualifications

U.S. Medical Degree or foreign equivalent (e.g., Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery)

Completion of Residency in Internal Medicine

Active New York State medical license or eligibility for one
