Senior Tax Analyst / Tax Manager
– Power Integrations – San Jose, CA Power Integrations is a fast‑growing semiconductor manufacturing company focused on innovation.
This role is designed for a corporate tax professional who can manage worldwide tax provisions, compliance, and audit support in a small, dynamic team.
Responsibilities
Analyze, prepare and manage real‑time interim and annual worldwide tax provisions.
Coordinate tax compliance (federal, state, international) and assist with audits.
Help manage internal audit teams for payroll, benefits and SOX compliance.
Maintain ASC 740 deferred tax account reconciliations.
Prepare quarterly and annual tax provision calculations and supporting workpapers (e.g., stock settlement reports).
Assist with R&D credit, ASC 174 capitalization and UTP calculations.
Prepare and file federal, state and international income tax returns; coordinate PBC with Deloitte.
Document and file FBAR and other regulatory filings.
Perform tax research, generate documentation and support M&A activity.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and ensure SOX testing compliance.
Qualifications
4–6+ years of income tax experience in both public accounting and corporate tax (Big 4 experience a plus).
Strong knowledge of federal corporate income tax and ASC 740.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
Proficiency with Oracle, reporting applications and web‑based research tools.
Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Willingness to tackle a wide range of tax projects in a small company environment.
Salary & Benefits Base salary range: $114,474 – $168,596 (California).
