Airdo Werwas, LLC, is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its dynamic, nationally-recognized practice. The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of civil litigation experience, particularly in defending complex tort and civil matters, and an interest or background in representing nonprofit, religious, and other tax-exempt organizations.

About the Firm Our firm focuses on the defense of complex litigation across a wide range of practice areas, including general and complex tort matters, healthcare liability, insurance coverage, and commercial litigation. We also maintain an active municipal and local government practice and advise clients on real estate development and other transactional matters. In addition, we are privileged to serve as National Coordinating Counsel for nonprofit and religious organizations throughout the country.

What We Offer

Competitive Compensation: $100,000.00 to $175,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience.

Minimum Qualifications

J.D. from ABA accredited law school, with strong academic credentials.

3 to 7 years of hands-on litigation experience.

In good standing with the Illinois bar.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

Defend and litigate general and complex tort matters, both locally and nationally.

Draft, prepare, and handle pleadings, motions, orders, and legal memoranda.

Draft and respond to written discovery and dispositive motions.

Conduct legal research competently and with proficiency.

Prepare and take depositions of parties and expert witnesses.

Review client documents and draft case evaluations and status reports.

Assist with and participate in court appearances, mediations, and trials.
