As a
Sr. Electrical Systems Engineer
with MTSI you will provide technical and programmatic advice and support services on a suite of advanced weapon system, sensor, and computer processing related technologies and programs. This position will be located in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Responsibilities
Interact daily with Air Force program managers and aerospace industry subject matter experts to assist the government with technical assessments, strategic planning, and engineering evaluations.
Provide technical assistance to DoD for the development of advanced airborne sensors and sensor platforms.
Provide program management and systems engineering support to major aircraft modification managing testing, airworthiness.
Required Experience
15 years' of relevant DoD work experience in Systems and Electrical Engineering.
Knowledge of DoD and/or USAF systems engineering processes and procedures for ACAT 1 and 2 systems, and contracts experience in preparing SOWs/RFPs and performing technical evaluations of proposals.
Recent DoD and/or USAF Special Access Programs experience and DoD and/or USAF Headquarters staffing processes.
Strong Background in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communication/Electronic systems, and/or distributed Weapon System Architectures.
Education Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
Master's Degree DESIRED

Active TS/SCI with current or previous SAP
