We are seeking an experienced
Contract Negotiator
with deep expertise in the
power and natural gas markets
to join our client's dynamic team. This role focuses on negotiating and managing complex agreements, including
ISDA
and
NAESB
contracts, to support the client's global trading operations.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate
ISDA Master Agreements ,
NAESB Base Contracts , and related documentation for power and gas transactions.
Collaborate with trading, legal, credit, and risk teams to ensure contracts align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Manage contract lifecycle, including amendments, confirmations, and dispute resolution.
Provide guidance on contractual risk and compliance issues in energy markets.
Maintain strong relationships with counterparties and internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient negotiations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
2+ years negotiating contracts in
power and gas markets
Strong knowledge of
ISDA
and
NAESB
agreements and related documentation
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and risk management in energy trading
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
