Location: Milwaukee, WI – FROEDTERT HOSPITAL (Hybrid)
Full‑time, 1 FTE, 40 hrs/week (Shift 1)
Job Summary The Clinical Coordinator will be the primary contact and resource to physicians/researchers, research staff, and Froedtert Health department leaders for clinical research protocols and projects. The position will perform a comprehensive Medicare Coverage Analysis, assist departments with hospital pricing for research needs, identify and determine hospital operational and clinical feasibility, provide education, and collaborate to develop billing plans to support compliance as necessary. This role reports directly to the Manager of the Office of Clinical Research and Innovative Care.
Experience A minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is required. Hospital billing compliance experience is preferred. Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid billing rules is preferred. Medical auditing, billing, quality management, case management and/or consulting experience is preferred.
Education Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
Special Skills Must exercise independent judgment; must have excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work in a team and demonstrate interpersonal skills. Must understand the difference between standard care services and research or innovative services.
License Requires current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or a multi‑state nursing license from a participating state in the NLC.
