Staff Engineering Analyst, Adspam, Trust & Safety Staff Engineering Analysts in the Trust & Safety Ad Traffic Quality team help protect the ads ecosystem by analyzing billions of events and building tools to stop fraud and abuse.

Responsibilities

Analyze the evolving AI threat landscape, forecast misuse vectors, and translate insights into proactive mitigation plans.

Apply intelligence to respond to new adversarial campaigns, deploying enforcement actions that defend against novel fraud and abuse.

Lead initiatives to implement next‑generation safety mitigations and guide engineering and research teams in building sophisticated technical solutions.

Partner with Engineering teams to improve ad traffic infrastructure, defense systems, and workflows, identifying efficiency improvements through advanced machine learning techniques.

Communicate across time zones with a globally distributed team.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

7 years of data analysis experience, including trend identification, summary statistics, and insight generation.

Experience with SQL or Python.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.

Experience building scaled operations, efficient workflow design, and process documentation.

Strong narrative skills to influence stakeholders and present to executives.

Data manipulation, analysis, and automation using Python and SQL with a data‑driven investigative approach.

Excellent problem‑solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and presentation skills across cross‑functional levels.

Job Details

Base salary range (U.S.): $174,000–$258,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

Full‑time position.

Seniority level: Not applicable.

Job function: Information Technology & Engineering – Information Services & Technology, Information and Internet.

Location: U.S. (remote options within U.S. time zones).
