What you’ll do:
Define and own Sherpany’s AI technical vision and drive strategy across the product
Shape scalable AI platform architecture and ensure robust, secure solutions
Lead design and optimization of on-prem AI systems, maintaining data privacy and compliance
Guide engineering teams with clear technical direction and best practices
Stay ahead of emerging AI technologies and apply them to solve real business problems
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering and go-to-market teams to deliver impactful AI solutions
What you bring:
8+ years in AI/ML engineering, with at least 3 years in architectural or principal-level roles
Deep expertise in Python and AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
Strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG, vector databases and orchestration frameworks
Experience with secure AI deployments and compliance-driven environments
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus for future initiatives
