Overview We are seeking a talented individual to join our Digital Solutions team at Mercer. This role can be based anywhere in the United States.
As part of Mercer, the world’s largest HR consulting firm, our Digital Solutions practice is a certified Workday implementation partner and the digital consulting arm of Mercer. Digital Solutions specializes in business and cloud consulting and is dedicated to transforming our clients' businesses. We leverage expertise in big data, cloud computing, and enterprise services to provide our customers with full‑lifecycle solutions.
Responsibilities
Oversee the complete implementation lifecycle of Workday Financials modules.
Support clients through the entire lifecycle of Workday implementations and ensure project deliverables are met within the specified timelines and budget.
Help clients leverage Workday technology to enhance and unify Finance, Human Resources, and talent management.
Lead Workday Financials design sessions with clients to gather requirements and document key decisions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday Financials configuration, leading the configuration across multiple prototype environments.
Drive transformation of business processes, particularly in Foundation Data Model (FDM) and Financial Accounting.
Provide perspective by understanding customer pain points and delivering complementary solutions.
Assist clients with data conversion from legacy systems into Workday.
Guide clients during testing cycles of prototypes.
Qualifications
CPA required.
Minimum of two full‑lifecycle engagements implementing Financial Accounting/FDM with the Workday Platform.
3+ years of Workday Financials experience and 10‑15 years of total Financials experience.
Deep understanding of Workday configuration options and transactional lifecycles (e.g., Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Cash to Conversion).
Experience with implementation lifecycle phases and methodology.
Experience designing and building financial reports such as balance sheet and P&L.
Outstanding leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

Lead role experience in Financial Accounting, FDM, or Core Financials.
Active certifications in FDM, Core Financials, and Financial Accounting.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Compensation Base salary range: $111,600 to $223,200. Base pay will be determined based on experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and applicable minimum wage requirements. The position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
