Busser / Server Assistant

Responsibilities
Oversee table maintenance, ensuring a smooth flow of service and assisting servers in the dining room.
Clear food and utensils from tables, reset tables, and service bread and water.
Monitor guest satisfaction, providing prompt assistance and resolving issues as needed.
Assist the kitchen staff in expediting service, maintaining effective communication between kitchen and front of house.
Act with integrity, honesty, and professionalism to promote Bourbon Steak and the Mina Group’s culture and values.
Maintain clean and organized work stations in line with the restaurant’s philosophy and standards of excellence.
Identify and propose improvements for staff and restaurant operations.
Operate daily with efficiency, respect, friendliness, teamwork, knowledge, patience, awareness, compassion, courtesy, and initiative.
Understand all programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
Represent the restaurant professionally through effective communication, cooperation, and relationships with all business partners.
General Expectations
Ensure customers feel welcomed and receive responsive, professional, gracious service at all times.
Operate seamlessly within daily restaurant operations, embodying the restaurant’s values and culture.
Required Qualifications
1–2 years of fine dining experience, with thorough knowledge of service procedures and functions.
Strong organization and cleanliness, with ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Basic food and wine knowledge is a plus.
Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong dedication to learning and motivation to progress in a fine dining environment.
Excellent basic math skills and proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft‑based computer systems.
Must be impeccably groomed, maintain good hygiene, good posture, and meet uniform and tool requirements.
Responsive to constructive feedback from chefs, managers, and colleagues.
