The AWS Cross Domain Services team seeks a Systems Development Engineer passionate about operational excellence to operate and scale services that connect AWS regions with differing security requirements.
Responsibilities
Leverage latest cloud computing technologies to improve cross domain services for U.S. Government agencies.
Operate, automate, and troubleshoot complex systems in partnership with software developer peers.
Grow automation skills and deepen understanding of cloud computing design patterns.
Build and maintain test fleets, perform functional and regression testing, define and perform stress testing, and monitor production software.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional).
5+ years programming with at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
4+ years experience developing, deploying, and operating in a Linux/Unix environment.
4+ years experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scaling.
Current, active US Government Security Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years experience developing, programming, or scripting (Python/Java/Bash/Perl).
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
Experience leading the design, build, and deployment of complex and performant software solutions in production.
