Director of Finance serves as a partner to the Vice President & General Manager and the Platform’s CFO, leading the financial function to drive profitable growth and operational efficiency. This role oversees financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate insights that support decision‑making across manufacturing and sales. The Director of Finance is responsible for maintaining a robust internal control environment and leading a high‑performing finance team.
Job Description Main Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership
Lead the development and execution of the annual business plan and long‑term financial strategy.
Partner with senior leadership to align financial goals with operational objectives and growth initiatives.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business decisions and performance improvement.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Oversee daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly financial performance analysis.
Forecast future financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Collaborate with Operations to develop and implement tools for project‑based costing and performance tracking.
Collaborate with Platform CFO & FPA Team in order to explain and consolidate Business Segment outlook and results into the Platform database.
Cost Accounting & Analysis
Oversee BU Segment Cost Accounting and Analysis team based both in Saint Louis and Mexico.
Review and approve annual labor and burden rates to ensure they are aligned with approved annual budget.
Accounting & Controls
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial operations including accounts payable, billing, collections, inventory, fixed assets, and general accounting.
Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal policies, escalating technical issues as needed.
Safeguard company assets through internal cost controls and risk management practices.
Operational Support
Support manufacturing and sales teams with financial analysis to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide leadership and guidance to the Operational Controller on inventory valuation, cost control, and forecasting.
Team Leadership & Development
Manage and develop the Finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
Align ream structure and capabilities with evolving business needs.

Number of direct subordinates: 3
Number of indirect subordinates: 7
Specific from the area: The Business Segment is about $650M of revenue, business in growth organic and inorganic. Leading process of integration inside the Platform and key person to support the business decision.
Requirements Education & Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 7 years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Technical & Analytical Skills
Deep expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Leadership & Communication
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach to problem solving and execution.
Language Skills
Minimum requirement: Fluent English.
