Job Summary The Material Control Associate I is responsible for organizing and stocking materials received by Forj. This role ensures orderly movement and distribution of products by receiving, storing, pulling, and delivering production materials and supplies in the correct quantities to the needed drop‑off location. Additionally, this role is responsible for additional process/project execution.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

Receive, organize, and stock product as defined by Quality System documentation

Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and storing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages

Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials listed on material requests

Physically and electronically transacts requested material by locating, pulling, verifying materials, delivering, and electronically transacting the quantity of units delivered and the location

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items

Open containers, sort, and catalog materials (Receiving)

Collaborate with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries, and replace damaged products

Learn and adhere to Workplace safety regulations

Work with team members to meet established goals

Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications And Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required

Data Entry, Math, and Computer Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills required

Attention to detail with the ability to organize vast amounts of data with a high level of accuracy

Ability to multi-task and maintain several priorities with differing deadlines

Strong time management skillsProficiency working with computers and Microsoft Office Suites required

Working Conditions

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to climb a ladder to stock materials

Must be trained to operate a forklift (can be trained on the job)

Subject to mandatory overtime requirements based on business demands

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Compensation and Total Rewards Package

The salary range for this position is outlined below under "Job Details" and is dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable employment laws.
