Summary The Ash Group is hiring an experienced
Hardware Engineer
for our client ( a global technology distributor connecting leading manufacturers of electronic components and computing solutions ) based
onsite
in
Hartford, WI .
This specialized role requires
5–10 years
of experience in embedded systems hardware design, focusing on
mixed signal design, PCB layout, and functional safety
within the
automotive or off-highway electronics industry . You will apply your expertise across the full design cycle, from schematic capture to system‑level troubleshooting.
Compensation:
Competitive pay rate of
$51 per hour .
Benefits:

Duration:

What You’ll Be Doing
Lead
embedded systems hardware design , focusing on analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and
MPU/MCU (microprocessor/microcontroller)
integration.
Utilize advanced hardware design tools for
schematic capture, PCB layout , and circuit simulation, ensuring compliance with
High Speed Design
principles.
Apply strong knowledge of
Mixed Signal Design, EMI/EMC , and
functional safety
standards (IEC, ISO, SAE) to all designs.
Troubleshoot complex hardware and system‑level issues using common test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi‑meters) and implement corrective actions.
Translate customer requirements into clear, actionable engineering specifications while ensuring adherence to relevant industry regulations.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in
Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering , or a related field.
5–10 years
of hands‑on experience in
hardware engineering , preferably within the
automotive or off‑highway electronics industry .
Strong foundation in embedded systems, including
analog and digital circuit design
and power electronics.
Proficiency with
hardware design tools
for schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulation.
Familiarity with
OrCAD/Cadence
design tools (CIS Schematic Capture, Allegro / PCB Editor, PSPICE) is preferred.
Experience with communication technologies such as
CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and Bluetooth .
