Position Summary:
Technica USA is looking for an senior accountant who is responsible, hard-working, and detail-oriented. The position is responsible for the AR/AP processes, managing account reconciliations, the financial report and daily operation. Our ideal candidate will be a reliable and precise professional who is eager to grow with us and accurately record our day-to-day financial transactions.
General Ledger Management: Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and perform full-cycle month-end close and variance analysis, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Support accounts payable and receivable function. Review posted customer and vendor invoices and payments, Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. Participate in the day-to-day accounting function, including AR collection, sales agent commission, cash management.
Inventory/ Fixed Assets Accounting: Maintain accurate records of inventory/fixed assets transactions and assist in periodic physical inventory counts.
Support and response internal/external audits and quarterly reviews by compiling financial documentation, reconciling accounts, and ensuring adherence to GAAP.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other analyses as required.
Tax Compliance: review and maintain the accuracy of sales tax filings and other regulatory reports.
Administrative Support: Undertake various administrative tasks, adapting to the dynamic needs of the team, ranging from routine to complex financial matters.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and critical thinking and analysis.
Experience working alone or without supervision.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation. The role involves standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods of time.
