Salary: $20 - $30 per hour. Travel time and report‑writing compensation are provided. Competitive starting pay.
Requirements
Resident of Boston or surrounding area.
Complex SIU/Claims investigation experience; without experience no application will be considered.
Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
Reliable vehicle, digital camera and computer with Windows OS, Microsoft Word and Internet connection.
Strong computer and Internet skills.
Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
Flexibility to work varied/irregular hours and days.
Responsibilities
Provide detailed and accurate investigative reports.
Obtain written and recorded statements.
Perform scene investigations.
Investigate property theft, vehicle theft, garaging issues and permissible‑use claims.
Accurately photograph evidentiary materials (e.g., accident scenes, vehicle damage).
Skills / Experience
Extensive experience conducting complex SIU/Claims cases.
Notary qualification is highly preferred.
Experience in surveillance as a Private Investigator is preferred.
Bi‑lingual skills are a plus.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related field is a plus.
Personal pride to meet deadlines for work product.
