Alongside clinical care, researchers and teachers from Metrocare’s Altshuler Center for Education & Research are advancing mental health beyond Dallas County while providing critical workforce to the state.**Job Description:**GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The mission of Metrocare Services is to serve our neighbors with developmental or mental health challenges by helping them find lives that are meaningful and satisfying. We are an agency committed to quality gender-responsive, trauma-informed care to individuals experiencing serious mental illness, development disabilities, and co-occurring disorders. Metrocare programs focus on the issues that matter most in the lives of the children, families and adults we serve.**Key Responsibilities:*** Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support application development and reporting needs.* Build processes that support data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet business needs.* Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.* Develop and maintain BI solutions using T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, and Power BI.* Experience working with large data repositories and relational databases.* Experience with Power BI* Ability to translate business needs, processes, and requirements into optimized data solutions.* Ability to monitor performance of existing data jobs and address issues to ensure scalability.* Understanding of business objectives and metrics, allowing for the alignment of analytical findings with organizational goals.* Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.* Assist in database migration and upgrades while maintaining data integrity.* Create and maintain documentation for data warehouse processes, data models, and architecture.* Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.**Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent quantitative field experience required.* 5+ years of experience in SQL Server or BI development.* Strong skills in T-SQL, database design, and performance optimization.* Proficiency with SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI.* Familiarity with data modeling techniques and database normalization.* Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Database certifications are a plus.**What We Offer:*** Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.* Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.* A collaborative and innovative work environment.* Flexible work hours and remote work options.This position requires initiative, independence, drive, and the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to perform a wide variety of responsibilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential functions listed here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the job.* Expertise in developing complex and well-structured scripts and queries in SQL, TSQL, SSRS, SSIS.* Experience working with large data repositories and/or relational databases.* Experience as an ETL developer with strong data architecture knowledge around data warehousing concepts, SQL development and optimization, and operational support models.* Knowledge of SAS tools.* Experience with Power BI a plus* Ability to develop file and database structures, and interfaces between internal and external systems* Ability to build processes that support data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.* Experience building and optimizing big data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.* Ability to translate business needs, processes, and requirements into optimized data solutions.* Ability to monitor performance of existing data jobs and address issues to ensure scalability.* Ability to monitor routine data loads and ensure they are successful.* Ability to design solutions to be optimal for reporting, analytics, and dashboards.* Ability to manage the technical documentation for all code, data definitions, dashboards, and data management applications.* Ability to assist in ongoing development of technical best practices for data integration, data quality, data cleansing and other ETL related activities.* Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.* Ability to work collaboratively in dynamic team environment.* Performs other duties as assigned.COMPETENCIES:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

**COMPUTER SKILLS:*** Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).* Ability to utilize Internet for resources.**CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:*** Current State of Texas Driver License or if you live in another state, must be currently licensed in that state. If licensed in another state, must obtain Texas Driver License within three (3) months of employment.* Any Database Certification a plus.* Any BI Certification a plus.**PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
