Base pay range : $75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Location: United States (Remote‑friendly, with frequent US travel)

About the role

We're looking for a hands‑on, curious, and analytical Consumer Insights & Market Research Specialist to help us understand nicotine consumers (in particular vapers) across the US.

You’ll collect data, talk to retail shop owners, analyze trends (like flavor and product format preferences), and turn insights into actionable input for our product and brand teams.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who’s passionate about consumer behaviour and eager to be in the field.

Responsibilities

Conduct store visits and interviews to gather real‑world insights

Design and run surveys (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Google Forms, etc.)

Analyze trends in flavor preferences, product formats, dual usage, pain points

Segment consumers by behaviour and demographics

Extract, evaluate data from online sources, reports, and databases

Design, execute, and analyze large‑scale consumer research surveys to support data‑driven product and marketing decisions

Turn qualitative feedback into meaningful patterns and themes

Provide the Product Team with insights that drive informed, consumer‑centric decisions

Interact with customers to share insights and/or present product solutions

Requirements

2+ years in market research, consumer insights, or related field

Experience with survey tools and basic data analysis (Excel/Sheets)

Comfortable speaking with consumers and store owners

Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset

Willingness to travel frequently across the US and spend significant time going from shop to shop and meeting with consumers

Industry experience in vaping, FMCG, or tech is a plus

Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt research plans based on evolving business needs

Comfortable working remotely, including working in a Chinese company

Flexibility with working hours to accommodate collaboration with China‑based HQ and team (early mornings or late evenings may occasionally be required)

Bonus skills

Understanding of consumer behavior in highly regulated and/or food & beverages industries

Interest in trends, product innovation, or lifestyle categories

Czech Consumer Insights & Market Research Specialist Location: Czech Republic (with frequent travel inland and to Slovakia, Germany, and other nearby countries)

About the role

We’re looking for a motivated and hands‑on Consumer Insights & Market Research Specialist based in the Czech Republic. You’ll help us understand what nicotine consumers (in particular vapers) want, how they behave, and how we can better serve them.

This role combines fieldwork (store visits, interviews) with data analysis and trend tracking. You’ll support product development and brand strategy with real insights from real people.

Responsibilities

Visit stores to observe behavior and speak with store owners & consumers

Run surveys and interviews to understand consumer needs

Identify pain points in the user journey and buying process as well as hierarchy of user needs

Segment consumers, analyze data, extract insights and compare across countries

Turn qualitative feedback into meaningful patterns and themes

Provide the Product Team with insights that drive informed, consumer‑centric decisions

Create clear, simple reports to support internal teams

Interact with customers to share insights and/or present product solutions

Be part of the Product Team to share insights and support decision‑making

Requirements

2+ years in market research, insights, or a related field

Experience with surveys and fieldwork (e.g. store visits, interviews)

Strong in basic data analysis (Excel/Sheets)

Good Czech, good English, and good German or Chinese a plus

Willing to travel regularly in Europe (especially around your location) and spend significant time going from shop to shop and meeting with consumers
