ATLAS is a growing defense contractor, so you'll likely gain experience across diverse healthcare settings. Here are some things you'll probably do: Provide comprehensive medical services within the scope and level of a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in various clinical settings. Systematically assess urgent or emergent health needs, analyze clinical data, and formulate effective care plans in collaboration with other medical team members. Recognize and treat illnesses and injuries according to established protocols within your scope of licensure and state regulations. Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation in accordance with standard protocols and Privacy Act requirements. Identify and record signs and symptoms of physical and mental conditions with precision and clinical insight. Exercise independent judgment, problem-solving skills, and clinical decision-making in prioritizing patient care needs. Participate in professional development and continuing education to remain current with healthcare practices and emergency medical treatment trends. Monitor and reconcile financial transactions to ensure uniform application of contract charges. Protect patient privacy through confidentiality practices, infection control procedures, consistent medication administration, and proper equipment maintenance. Deploy to various locations as needed, providing critical medical support where required. Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program with current NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC Certification. Active and unrestricted NP/PA License without pending adverse actions and ability to be favorably credentialed per Acuity policy. Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant. Current Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications. Willingness to obtain Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification before deployment. Recent clinical experience with at least 6 months of direct patient care within the past year. Strong multitasking abilities, detail oriented, organizational skills, and excellent verbal and written communication. Proficiency with computer systems, common office equipment, and MS Office products. Ability to adapt to sudden changes and flexibility in work requirements, including potential shift changes based on operational needs and command priorities. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to respond promptly to clinical inquiries. Self-starting, action-oriented approach with a strong sense of urgency. Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is a plus. Physical Requirements

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time. Benefits
