Senior Plant Manager
CertainTeed , Silver Grove, KY – Salary $160,000.00–$200,000.00 This Senior Plant Manager role provides leadership and direction in the operations of a multi-line wallboard Gypsum & Finishing business as part of the CertainTeed Interior Products Group. The position uses World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Continuous Improvement techniques to focus on EH&S & Sustainability, manufacture superior quality, cost efficient products, and provide an excellent customer experience. Responsibilities
Assure systems are in place to meet Saint‑Gobain’s waste and energy, sustainability goals. Monitor quality systems to ensure all products are shipped within targeted specifications. Meet cost budgets and cost targets through the efficient use of all resources. Develop and execute cost savings plans. Develop a Capital Budget and assure projects are completed within budget and schedule for both plants. Develop and successfully execute an operational budget for both plants. Qualifications
Engineering or business degree, preferred. Equivalent technical training in a relevant manufacturing environment that provides a comprehensive knowledge of plant leadership and at least 10 years of relevant manufacturing experience. ERP system knowledge in plant management. Warehouse and inventory management experience including shipping standards to other countries outside the U.S. About Us
