Strategic Pricing Director E-Commerce – BradyPLUS
Join BradyPLUS in a leadership role focused on developing and executing pricing strategies across our e‑commerce platform. This position reports to the Chief Merchandising Officer with dotted line reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Director of Pricing Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, build, and develop the strategic pricing team to enable online pricing capabilities.
Design pricing architecture for products based on customer segments and business strategy, setting list prices and customer incentive structures.
Execute customer and competitive research to determine optimal price positioning, value proposition, and willingness to pay.
Monitor and analyze macroeconomic conditions, cost trends, and market factors that influence price changes.
Create and own discount policies including target price guidance, exception workflow, and ROI tracking.
Develop analytical pricing models to support price setting, deal guidance, and pro‑forma impacts.
Identify potential revenue leakage and improve profitability for customers and products.
Monitor effectiveness of pricing strategies and create performance dashboards and analytics.
Work with cross‑functional go‑to‑market teams to develop deployment, training, and communication materials.
Implement tools that enable data‑driven pricing decisions and administration.
Extend pricing strategies to new acquisitions, sharing learnings across teams.
Align with the overall e‑commerce strategy and vision.
Ideal Candidate Requires
8‑10+ years of business experience (or 5‑7+ years consulting) in pricing, finance, or sales operations.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
Proven success setting vision, defining strategy, and moving organizations forward.
Experience using and customizing advanced analytics tools for pricing opportunities.
Experience developing innovative pricing strategies across customers, products, regions, and geographies.
Strong customer and competitor research skills with advanced analytics.
Expertise in pricing organization design, roles, process redesign, KPIs, and dashboards.
Strategic thinking, results orientation, collaboration, influence, and communication.
